Suzanne Moore

Suzanne Moore lives in the green hills of the Northeast, surrounded by trees and moss and stone. She creates contemporary designs using scribal techniques, combining lettering, painting and drawing with inventive book design.

Her one-of-a-kind books have been acquired for public and private collections, including the Pierpont Morgan Library, the Library of Congress, the James S. Copley Library and the Houghton Library at Harvard University.

The subjects of Suzanne's current works range from the alphabets of various cultures, like the Sequoia and the Cherokee writing systems, to the spirituality of gardening.
